PASSION FOR DETAIL

"The greatest things in this world are defined by their details"

We are inspired by the symbolism of our cultural heritage and we imagine each piece as a work of art, that is why we make important every detail that exists in each of them.

LOVE FOR THE NATURAL

"The earth is alive, water is a marvel, clean air is vital and the sun is energy."

We are inspired by the lifestyle of a natural woman, where each one of us can feel real, authentic and free.

PRESERVATION OF OUR ROOTS

"The more we know our roots, the more we know about ourselves."

We love where we come from, who we are and where we are going. In our eagerness to keep our true identity alive, we explore and transform the beauty of our culture into garments and accessories that we can carry with us every day.

LOVE FOR THE NATURAL

We work with groups of women and men, with whom, together we celebrate our values thus improving the social environment. Being empathetic, in the same way, with the problems of the environment and our society.

ARTISAN TECHNIQUES

EMBROIDERED TO PEDAL MACHINE

Embroidery is one of the most vigorous expressions of traditional culture, the drawings that will adorn the fabric are traced in pencil on a canvas, then the canvas is placed on a hoop taut and embroidered with the pedal machine. It requires coordination in hands, feet and knee, since the machines of the artisans are mechanical pedal.

In the process the craftsman needs to handle a movement of the embroidery hoop to fill the figures, a knee lever to control the width of the stitch while managing the speed of the machine with the pedal.

CROCHET FABRIC

Also known as crochet fabric, name that is due to the instrument in the form of a hook with which it is made. It is a fabric in the form of a network formed by links or chains, one by one you can get to form a complete garment. To execute this technique requires an appropriate position of the hands, a specific way to hold the hook, concentration, patience and years of experience.

The process begins by holding the thread with one hand while the one holding the hook makes a loop by passing the thread through a first slip knot, this is repeated until a chain of the desired length is formed.

CROSS-STITCH

The cross stitch is the technique used in most of our pieces, it is a difficult technique for the eyes, hands and posture. It is also known as "Hilo Contado", because the stitches in the form of crosses are counted one by one to form complex figures. The size of the surface where this technique is placed makes it more complicated if it is small or of less difficulty if it is larger. Formerly the cross-stitch or yarn counted, it was made "in the thread", that is, directly on the fabric that was to be decorated. In Yucatan, for several decades a mesh called "caneva" has been used, which is woven into the fabric, removing this canevá at the end.
